Becca was born and raised in Louisville, KY; daughter to Patti Hall and Darryl Battoe. She discovered at a very young age that there was no greater joy on Earth than being in the spotlight. She quickly became a great dancer, and by the time she went to high school (Louisville's Youth Performing Arts School), she was dancing professionally, and training nearly 40 hours a week.
At the end of her high school career, she was diagnosed with Graves Disease, and forced to quit dancing temporarily. While this was a devastating decision because of her love for dance, the time away gave Becca the opportunity to reevaluate herself and who she wanted to become. It was after matriculating to the University of Louisville when she first ran into Stanislavski's AN ACTOR PREPARES. This text made her realize what a calling acting was for her and she would never look back. She transferred to Northern Kentucky University's Theater Arts program, and subsequently graduated Magna Cum Laude with her BFA in Theatre in three years.
After graduating, she had the world before her, but her top options were LA, NYC, or touring with a company. The City of Angels won out, and she took off from the cincinnati area with nothing in her pocket and a smile on her face. The time she has spent here in Los Angeles has led her down many different paths. She finds herself most often working on t.v, independent films and in the theatre.
Becca looks forward to what the future holds for her. She works hard, hopes high and tries to expect nothing. This method keeps her pleasantly surprised with how life unfolds.
She believes fully in what her Ampaw always says:
"It seems like the harder I work, the luckier I get." - J. Pat Hall
